REQUIREMENTS

The qualification is designed primarily for graduates and aims to provide accessible opportunities for professional development and progression. Entry is through centre application and interview, with each learner assessed individually and subject to applicable local regulatory requirements. Candidates should hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant curriculum subject and have achieved IELTS Academic 6.0, with a minimum of 6.0 in Reading and Writing and 5.5 in Speaking and Listening.

  • This qualification is intended for individuals aged 19 years and above.
  • Admission is based on individual interviews and assessments.
  • Applicants need to demonstrate the potential to study at minimum academic Level 5 of study
  • Applicants need relevant qualifications or experience for their intended teaching subject.
  • Unit 3 requires a minimum of 120 days of professional practice, ideally involving teaching a variety of learners across different levels and learning environments. This practical experience enables learners to apply their knowledge and develop teaching competence in real educational settings.
