Mandatory Units: 

UNIT 1 – Understanding the Principles and Practices of Internally Assuring the Quality of Assessment

UNIT 2 – Internally Assure the Quality of Assessment

  • The unit 2 emphasizes the practical application of internal quality assurance in assessment processes. It covers creating and executing quality assurance plans, offering constructive feedback and support to assessors, and overseeing and evaluating assessors’ performance to ensure best practices are maintained.

The assessments for all units are conducted through Practical Demonstration/Assignment-based evaluations rather than formal examinations with grading scales of Pass/Merit/Distinction. The assessment for the Qualifi Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice is designed to evaluate both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in internal quality assurance. Learners will complete a range of activities to demonstrate competence in planning, monitoring, supporting assessors, and reflecting on their own professional practice.
